Last time, we talked about 1960: Making of the President and our experience with the board game. Continuing the research and, perhaps looking for some sort inspiration for our project, we decided to try out Ingenious, a game that puts short-term decision making and consideration of other players’ moves while using them to your advantage.
Ingenious uses a hexagonal board that’s divided into three shades of gray. These are used to determine the size of the play area that will be used, depending on the number of players. If it’s a four-player-game, then all the board is used, if it’s a three-player-game, then an outer ring with a darker shade of grey is not used, and then consequently if it’s a two-player-game.
